MSc Early Intervnetion in Psychosis

GENERAL INFORMATION

The lectures are held in person every Monday and Wednesday in the afternoon at the "Kostas Stefanis" amphitheater of the Eginition Hospital.

The postgraduate program (MSc) accepts graduates from university departments in Medicine, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, and related fields from domestic institutions or recognized equivalent institutions abroad.

The maximum number of admitted students to the postgraduate program is set at 50.

The duration of study for the postgraduate program leading to the award of a Master’s Degree is three (3) academic semesters, which include the time required to complete a dissertation. There is an option for an extension, upon a justified request from the student and approval by the Assembly or the Program Committee. The extension cannot exceed two semesters. Therefore, the maximum allowable time for completing the program is five (5) academic semesters.

The postgraduate program consists of the following teaching units:

  1. Basic Concepts and Elements of Psychotic Disorders
  2. Methods of Scientific Research
  3. Therapeutic Approaches to Psychotic Disorders
  4. Interventions in Psychotic Disorders - Development of Early Intervention Services
  5. Statistics
  6. Preparation of the Master’s Dissertation
