STUDENTS' OBLIGATIONS AND RIGHTS

Rights and Benefits of Postgraduate Students

Postgraduate students of the MSc program "Early Intervention in Psychosis" are entitled to all rights and benefits granted to undergraduate students until the end of any granted extension of studies, except for the provision of free textbooks.

Support for Students with Disabilities or Special Educational Needs

The institution ensures accessibility to recommended textbooks and teaching materials for students with disabilities or special educational needs. More information is available at https://access.uoa.gr/.

Student Support Services

Participation in Academic and Research Activities

Students are encouraged to participate in:

  • Seminars of research groups.
  • Bibliographic discussions.
  • Laboratory visits.
  • Conferences or workshops related to the MSc program’s field of study.
  • Lectures and other scientific events organized by the MSc program.

International Exchange Programs

Postgraduate students can participate in international exchange programs, such as ERASMUS+ or CIVIS, in accordance with the applicable legislation.

  • A maximum of 30 ECTS credits can be recognized through such programs.
  • This option is available after the first semester of studies. Students must submit an application to the Program Committee (Σ.Ε.) and comply with program requirements.

The MSc program is also open to international exchange students (e.g., through ERASMUS+) as per established collaborations.

Enrollment in Multiple Programs

  • Postgraduate students at NKUA may enroll in other MSc programs within NKUA or other domestic or international universities, provided there are academic or research cooperation agreements, in accordance with applicable legislation.
  • Simultaneous enrollment in an undergraduate program and an MSc program, or in two MSc programs within the same or different departments/universities, is permitted.

Evaluation Process

At the end of each semester, postgraduate students evaluate:

  1. Each course.
  2. Each instructor.

Diploma Supplement

Postgraduate students may request a diploma supplement in both Greek and English.


Student Dismissal

The Faculty Assembly, upon recommendation from the Program Committee, may decide to dismiss a postgraduate student if:

  1. They exceed the maximum number of absences.
  2. They fail one or more courses and are unable to complete the program successfully, as outlined in the regulations.
  3. They exceed the maximum allowable study duration.
  4. They violate disciplinary regulations, as determined by the relevant disciplinary bodies.
  5. They fail to pay the required tuition fees.
  6. They submit a request for withdrawal.

In the event of dismissal, students may request a certificate documenting the courses they successfully completed.
